Penny's story
Sweet Penny (A159317) is ready for a loving home at the shelter.  Penny is about ten years young and recently lost her best friend and caregiver when she moved into a nursing home.  Penny has had a bit of a rough life on the streets, but she found her way to the right place where she could get the loving care she needs to thrive.  We took care of her teeth and helped her gain some weight and she feels so much better now and is ready to be adopted into a home where she can finally know love and comfort off the streets.  Penny has endeared herself to staff and become a staff favorite at the shelter.

All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months).  All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and tested Feline Leukemia negative (if under 6 months) or Feline Leukemia and Feline AIDS negative (if over 6 months).
